Message	Unless you want to spend a lot more and get into the next level with an SLR, check this out. [ http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/13295/kodak_easyshare_z712is/ ] Great image stabalization and has the panoramic feater that lets you sew a bunch of shots together like you mentioned. I bought a 2 meg card, and it will take over 800 shots at 7.2 megapixel and the battery lasts for probably all of them. Don't know as I've never got it to die yet.
